Food Safety Course


Certified Food Safety Manager Course

At least one person from each food facility that has unpackaged meats, chicken, poultry, fish, dairy or other potentially hazardous food must have a Food Managers Certificate.  These classes typically last up to 8 hours with an 80 question test. This certificate is valid for 5years from the date it was issued.

California Food Handler Card Course

All food handlers in non-exempted food facilities (primarily restaurants) that do not have a Food Safety Manager Certificate are required to have a Food Handler Card.  The course is offered primarily online but classes are available.  These classes are 2.5 hours with a 40 question test.
