If you would like to make, sell, and/or donate food to the public, you need an Environmental Health Permit.
Restaurants, Mobile Food Facilities, Schools, Cafeteria's, Shared Kitchens, Licensed Healthcare Facilities and other types of kitchens all require Food Facility Plan Check. Once the plan check process is complete construction may begin, then inspections are conducted by our inspectors to verify that the facility meets California Health & Safety Code Regulations. Once the plan check, construction, and inspections are completed the business may apply for a health permit by filling out the health permit application form.
